Sara Dimeo, MD: Dr. Dimeo serves as the Medical Education and Technology Fellowship Director at Prisma Health-Upstate. She completed a Multimedia Design Education Technology Fellowship at the UC-Irvine in 2019 and is the former Director of Education for the Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association (EMRA). Her professional interests including slide design and using interactive methods of learning during didactics such as gamification and team-based learning.
Tracy DeSelm, MD: Dr. DeSelm is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine, at the University of North Carolina. She attended Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia and completed her Residency in Emergency Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. She holds various positions in the UNC SOM to include Student Advisor, Electives Director, Admissions Committee, and Course Instructor.
Daniel Fox, MD: Dr. Fox is a pulmonary and critical care medicine physician with WakeMed Physician Practices. In addition to working in the intensive care units and caring for inpatients, Dr. Fox also sees patient in private practice at WakeMed Physician Practices – Pulmonology. His clinical interests include caring for patients with complex lung diseases including autoimmune disease, asthma, and interstitial lung disease, with a special interest in patients with pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary embolism. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine. He has published numerous research papers and has completed many presentations across the country, and is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
David Kirk, MD: Dr. Kirk is the Director of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine and Director eICU Service at WakeMed in Raleigh. He received his undergraduate degree at The University of Mississippi and attended medical school at The University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He completed his residency at The University of North Carolina.
Nicholas Vasquez, MD, MHSM: Dr. Vasquez is a 15 year emergency physician, a Native Arizonan, a dad, and husband. He has been an advocate for his patients since medical school and now uses his experience to help address the social determinants of health. Currently he serves as the Chair of the Vitalyst Health Foundation as well as Vice Chair for ACEP’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Health Equity Section.
Eveline Wu, MD, MSCR: Dr. Wu is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her pediatrics residency at Vanderbilt University followed by a dual fellowship in Allergy/Immunology and Pediatric Rheumatology at Duke University. She is board-certified in both Allergy/Immunology and Pediatric Rheumatology and has particular clinical interests in immune deficiency and autoimmunity. She is currently Chief of the Division of Pediatric Rheumatology and co-director of the Clinical Immunology Service for the Division of Allergy/Immunology at UNC.
